One of my favorite couples are now a family of three. I’ve done their engagements, wedding, bride+groom, maternity and now this family session. It’s so awesome to be there through all of these life changing events. Unfortunately we were cut short by the CRAZY WIND but what we were able to get is perfect. They are so in love with this little girl.

I came across this photo challenge for photographers to submit their favorite shot of 2013 and thought it woud be fun to enter!
I had a hard time deciding but I kept coming back to this image. It was taken in Jackson Hole Wyoming In Teton National Park during their bride/groom session. I made them pull to the side of the road and go into this beautiful field with the Tetons as the backdrop. I also must add that we were surrounded by Buffalo! ANYTHING for the shot right???

Sometimes Im touched beyond words at special moments at weddings. This one had me crying from start to finish. Maybe it was Shane marrying not only Dionna but also her twin girls. Maybe it was her mom’s sweet speech. Perhaps it was her three brothers suprising her and one at a time cutting in to dance during the father/daughter dance. Whatever it was I was honored to capture their special day filled with so much love and overwhelming happiness.
