I posted my scheduling idea a few weeks back but have found myself re-writing the same reply to new clients who don’t read my blog/facebook regularly. So I decided to write this post to sum it all up and be able to link them to this to answer all ?’s.
My business got OUT OF CONTROL last year and I took on too many sessions along with Weddings. Im so very thankful for my clients and feel very blessed. At the same time, there is only so much one person can do and I have learned I need to give myself boundaries.
This year I have 22 Weddings and will be limiting my sessions greatly . I will be booking a month in advance so that I will know the workload I can take on from month to month. I realize that this may be frustrating for you that are “planners” like me but unfortunately it’s all I can commit to right now. I can honestly tell you that I have been working NO LESS than 70 plus hours a week since last June along with raising 3 kids.
So what do you do if you want a session???
Right now Im only scheduling Weddings, and time sensitive sessions like Birth Stories, Newborns and Engagement Photos until the end of May.

Sometime in May I will email my list of my availability in June. Factors that will influence getting a session are
-order on the list
-response time to my email
-$50 deposit secured
I have over 40 on the list at this time so if you don’t get a session in June than I will email you again for the open dates in July, August etc. if you are still interested:)
Also, before emailing PLEASE READ MY PRICING , it’s on top of this blog, on my website and I will post the link below. Keep in mind that session fees do not include prints and CD… please budget for this expense as well as the session fee because prints MUST BE ORDERED 2 WEEKS after you receive your gallery password. No exceptions this year (Got to be hard core).
